BEAUTIFUL HOUSE TO RENT IN PONS SITUATED IN THE CHARENTE-MARITIME AREA OF SOUTH WEST FRANCE

Our home, your next holiday destination is actually two houses in one, number  31 and 33 rue Charles de Gaulle. The houses are linked internally so no need for wet feet but also have 2 separate entries for any late partygoers.

We typically accommodate six adults in the main house, and a further four, in our adjoining Garden and Granada rooms. All rooms are big enough for travel cots and on request an additional single bed could be added to the Corner, Garden and Granada rooms.

You will have access to two lounges, our snug with its comfortable and informal feel, it has sliding doors straight on to the garden and seating area. The snug offers a choice of books and family friendly games. it is a great place for guests to chill together. The formal lounge offers ample seating and access to English and French TV.

The dining area can seat ten, and we have a high chair for the little one. It offers direct access to the kitchen which is fully equipped with all that you will need during your stay. If you don't want to eat in the dining area, then why not sit in our lovely outside dining space, cook your favorites on the BBQ and watch the world go by. 

In the cellar you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The garden has several seating areas in which to relax, with direct access to the river. We have a canoe which you are welcome to use (at your own risk) so that you can explore and enjoy the river and local area.

The Jardin Room

The Jardin Room, with a comfortable double bed, has a very tranquil and relaxing feel to it. Sliding glass doors give access to a small balcony that overlooks the garden and the river. The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite shower and toilet. This room is in the adjoining home and offers peace and tranquillity.  

The Granada Room

Situated on the second floor of our adjoining house, with an internal staircase, with its warm earthy colours, the Granada room really does bring a taste of the Mediterranean to this corner of France. The tiles in the hammam styled en-suite facilities were sourced from Spain adding a touch of the exotic to the room. The windows look down on the garden, with views over the river and the park beyond. The large king-size double bed is comfortable and there is a separate setting area to relax. The room has tea and coffee making facilities. We do not recommend this room with very small children due to the stairs.

The Rivera Room

The Rivera Room has a delightful four-poster double bed with a generous bathroom. It is light and airy with lovely views over both the river and the garden,. It is comfortably furnished and situated on the first floor of the main house.

The Lilas & Corner Rooms

Situated on the first floor of the main house is our bright and spacious twin bedded room, the Lilas room. It is comfortably furnished and shares a shower room with the Corner room. The Corner room is a delightful double room, with twin aspect windows looking over the river and towards the nearby woods.
